Luxury Private Villa, Canggu

Main Villa
This ironwood, beautiful, five-bedroom luxury home in Bali - set in tropical grounds - is designed in the style of a Balinese temple compound, with separate, smaller pavilions centred around one large, open-sided 'wantilan' or main pavilion. Two of the pavilions, hidden among palm trees and flowering shrubs, serve as exquisite, private bedroom suites; another pavilion houses the villa's spoiling spa.
Gardens & Pool
The lush, manicured gardens are criss-crossed by stone paths leading to pretty fishponds with water features, or to shady nooks where you won't be disturbed. The elegant swimming pool, furnished with chic, contemporary sun loungers and parasols, resembles a traditional reflecting pool and is overlooked by a giant Buddha head.
Dinning & Breakout Areas
The interiors of this luxury villa in Bali are 'tropical modern', offering a mix of contemporary and vernacular styles, with authentic decorative accessories that root the home firmly in its surroundings. The dining veranda on the first floor overlooks the gardens, and is furnished with beautiful wooden table and chairs. Throughout the villa there are lots of comfortable seating areas for chilling, socialising or just quietly reading a book.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedrooms are cool and romantic - particularly those in the garden pavilions - with canopy beds, luxurious furnishings and superb bathrooms. Some of the bedrooms also benefit from outdoor bathrooms where you can bathe in total privacy under the stars.

Canggu
There's a gorgeous beach five minutes away from the villa. And while Canggu boasts several excellent places to eat, Seminyak, with its fantastic array of bars and restaurants is only 15 minutes away.

Gym Workouts and Acro Yoga
Our gym and Acro Yoga sessions will be in private spaces, varying location and workout each time, for the resistance training workouts we'll visit some of Bali's most renowned gyms with top of the range equipment, so you will get to experience the best gyms of Bali and amazing atmospheres for your workouts.

Gym Workouts
Strength training, muscle building, high intensity cardio training, as a team. Making use of Bali’s best facilities while varying each session to keep it fun and interesting.

Acro Yoga
Acro-yoga is an acrobatic style of yoga done in partners or groups of 3 or more, involving supporting and lifting each other up in yoga positions… think of weight training but with human weights! The sessions will be progressive, teaching you to master a number of poses over the course of the retreat.
Workouts and Acro Yoga will cater to all levels of abilities.
Excursions
Explore, see and feel. Fitness doesn’t have to be stereotypical workouts. With us, you will get your steps expenditure in the best way possible – on adventures. Our excursions schedule includes activities, nature and culture. Everything Bali is known for, we’ve got covered.

The Morning Ritual
Start your mornings like god intended, free of your mobile phone, connecting with life. Our daily morning ritual is first thing before breakfast each day - this will rotate between yoga or mediation in our picturesque private gardens and by the pool or a run through the surrounding Rice Fields and natural Bali jungle. Kickstarting the day.

We will balance the physical load of the morning sessions in conjunction with the gym and acro sessions, and excursions - so that you get the right type of morning session (yoga, run or meditation), exactly when you need it.
Nutrition
The trip is half-board. You'll receive 2 meals a day from us included in your package. This will either be breakfast and lunch, breakfast and dinner or lunch and dinner depending on whether we have an excursion that day. The meals will be nutritious and filling so most likely you will not need a full 3rd meal.

The food will be both traditional Balinese while being healthy and lean - not oily like some Asian food can be. We have a Bali based nutritionist designing our food for the trip and a live-in chef at the Villa to cook the meals.
Basic drinks and snacks available to you, while more extensive requests can be accommodated by our on-hand chef as and when, at additional expense.
Recovery Hour
Massage and stretching play a crucial role in your body’s ability to recover, adapt and improve. Gym and Acro Yoga sessions will typically always be mid-afternoon and followed by a recovery period of 1 hours back at the villa where massages and stretching will take place, prior to dinner.

Fitness, Yoga and Recovery
Although many daytime excursions will have a fitness element, mornings and mid to late afternoon is where the bulk of our dedicated workouts, yoga and the recovery hour will fall. We want you to start the day the right way, with our morning ritual, make the most of the sunshine of the day, before hitting a session, recovery then dinner, after which the night is yours.
Excursions and Free Time
Around the workout sessions each day we’ll either have a morning excursion or an evening activity for you. On days where there is no daytime excursion you'll have the morning to yourself to go off to the beach, relax around the villa, or go and explore the local town we'll be staying in – Canggu. Where there is a daytime excursion, you'll have the evening to yourself, to check out the exciting nightlife or just grab an early one.
Although we have planned everything to manage the physical load, it is still a jam packed schedule – we know. So you're welcome to opt-out of anything if you're not feeling up to the particular activity or would just rather do something else. But we’re confident you’re going to love it all!
You'll receive a welcome pack on arrival with your full schedule for the stay and tips and contacts for the local area and for Bali in general.
Your Hosts
Both David and Caspian will be your full-time hosts on the retreat, taking the majority of the fitness and yoga sessions and looking after you on the excursions. You’ll also meet some additional trainers for some sessions, as well as the villa staff who are there to make your stay comfortable.

What the island has to offer within a small space is phenomenal, and what makes it all the more special is that it caters to fitness and healthy living while still being prime for all the fun, relaxation and exploring you’d expect from a normal holiday.

Caspian Burrell
Yoga and Acro-yoga Teacher
I’ve been living and teaching yoga full time in Bali since 2018, I teach a variety of yoga styles including: hatha, acroyoga, vinyasa, nidra, thai yoga massage and more, plus I have a background in martial arts which influences my movement practices and teaching. I have spent some time in all of the main hotspots in Bali and I’m keen to share all the best bits and hidden gems that I’ve found with you!
